Programme for children at Marie Mine

As part of this year's mining celebrations, the Příbram House for Children and Youth at Marie Mine has prepared a varied programme full of creative workshops, entertainment and learning about mining history. Children will be able to try their hand at making minerals, making plaster casts with a surprise or stamping seals. In cooperation with the Waldorf School Příbram, there will also be demonstrations of blacksmithing. An interesting feature will be the "melter" - a model of a furnace with a demonstration of casting. For active visitors, there will be an obstacle course and an adventurous mining trail leading through the Birch Mountains. The programme will also include large-scale colouring and horse riding.
