Lookout tower RUDOLFKA

The observation platform is located at a height of about 40 m. The observation tower is a concrete monolith and is certainly the only building of this type in Europe, if not in the whole world.The observation tower "Rudolfka" is located in the village of Bohutín, about 2 km from Příbram, in the area of the former mine 25. únor - the current "Miner's Pension".

The lookout tower is located at the top of the former mining tower of this mine, at a height of about 40 m. The mining tower is a concrete monolith and is certainly the only building of this type in Europe, if not in the whole world.

The climb to the lookout itself consists of 3 parts. The first part is the ascent up the iron stairs made of porous timber to the first floor of the former shaft building, the second part is ascending to the concrete foot of the mining tower, where there is a spiral reinforced concrete staircase, which you climb up to a height of about 30 m, from which you then move to the attached outdoor metal spiral staircase made of porous timber, which is transparent around its entire perimeter and on the staircase, which at a height of about 35 m above the ground is an extraordinary adrenaline experience.

Please note that the climb is not suitable for children under 3 years of age and for the less physically fit.
